As of Dec. 22, 2024, this is the information we have about this car:
[Nov.01.2016] The car was listed for sale on eBay by Motorcar Gallery Fort Lauderdale, Florida (954) 522-9900 for $88,000 with a $100,000 "Buy It Now" and up to 68 people were watching the item. The listing stated the following: Our car is black with blue cloth interior. It is a very sharp example. While the restoration is older and shows some minor wear, the sides are quite straight, the chrome excellent, and the interior looks great. Even the engine and engine compartment is really nice. The air conditioning blows cold. The car is a blast to drive. It runs perfect and drives exactly as it should. The tires are excellent. The mileage shows as 572 miles.
[Jan.01.2005] According to collector and enthusiast Ron Susser, the car was sold again, in 2003, this time for "only" $29,000.
[June, 2002] The car was again for sale on eBay. The winning bid was $24,301.11.
[2001] The car was offered for sale as lot #466 by the Kruse Group at their Spring venue, in Auburn, IN where it was reported sold for $30,500.
[September, 2000] Ed reported that he sold this car to an enthusiast in Illinois.
[March, 1999] Car #30 is one of a series of 1959-1960 Brougham models owned by Canadian enthusiast Ed Pentesco with whom I had the opportunity of chatting at length in March 1999 (his number was given to me by another Canadian Eldorado admirer, Stephen Nadon). I met Ed in Santa Clara, CA, some three months later. Ed bought this car near Carson City, Nevada. It has undergone a ground-up restoration.
