Car Body #34

As of Dec. 23, 2024, this is the information we have about this car:

[Jan.01.2017] Kristian Gustafsson, who own 59 EB #62, provided several updates regarding the whereabouts and condition of several 59 EBs including #6, #34, #52, and #97. He stated the following: 59 EB #34 belongs to a friend of mine Thomas who lives 50 Miles away from me. Thomas' car is in my shop at the moment for reproducing some sheet metal panels. There is some incorrect information about his car on the database. This is a misunderstanding according to Thomas himself. The interior is red all leather, red headliner, black floor mats with red edge bands. Kristian also provided a couple of pictures of 59 EB #34 that enabled us to create a new gallery posted herewith. We look forward to receiving additional pictures and updates regarding this car, which is apparently undergoing a restoration.

[Sep.01.2003] This car has been located in Sweden by our favorite Brougham detective there, Jerry Jansson. At this time, the current owner, Tomas, is restoring the car completely and has the body down to bare metal, revealing in the process the fine craftsmanship of PF's panel beaters who adjusted all the body panels perfectly with lead filler. Tomas provided Jerry with these (odd???) indications from the car's body tag and plastic door post tag: Engine #5770-138934, Body #34, Color #110 (black), Trim #0001 (special order - see build-sheet for description). The VIN given by Tomas actually corresponds to 1957 Eldorado Brougham #322, which was painted Nairobi Pearl (code #149), had light gray leather combined with white leather (code #158) and mouton carpeting (code #2). This information is as per the BOA roster compiled in the mid-seventies by owner-enthusiast Cy Strickler, from Georgia, and that serves as the basis for this chapter of The (New) Cadillac Database.
