Car Body #666

As of May 20, 2024, this is the information we have about this car:

[Nov.01.2016] The car has remained in the same family and Randy Lessard, Peter Dorey’s nephew, now owns the car. Randy sent as is pictures and may also provide pictures of the car when it was his uncle’s daily driver. Randy reports that the car is still on the air ride suspension but will not hold air. His uncle had built a test rig that could test rebuilt units with the leveling valves before putting them back on the car. The bumpers are still in good shape for a driver. The car came with the mouton carpet and Randy also has a new factory unit that his uncle had bought. Randy is now working on getting the car fully detailed and/or restored including the under-carriage, engine bay and interior. Randy's current plan is to get the car back on the road and in respectable condition to honor his uncle's love of the car.

[Jun.01.2000] This car was on the cover of BOA Newsletter, Vol. 10, #1, 1998; inexplicably, it was overlooked when preparing the original survivor section of the Cadillac Database. The car was in the ownership of Peter M. Dorey since 1960. He had reported that "when he bought it, he was able to secure all the missing vanity items from the factory.
