Car Body #68

As of Dec. 22, 2024, this is the information we have about this car:

[Apr.01.2009] The car was listed in Hemmings for May, 2009, by Troby's Memory Lane in South Hackensack, New Jersey. It reportedly had 37,055 miles at the time and the price tag was $119,000. The car was subsequently sold. The description read as follows: The vehicle for sale here was purchased from a collector who owned the car for approximately 20 years. It is truly a time capsule car. The interior of the vehicle is all original, including the seats, rugs and headliner, and they are in excellent condition. The paint and chrome was restored in our shop, and the air conditioning, memory seat, trunk pull down, and radio are all in working order. The provenance of the vehicle is excellent and would be a welcome addition to any collection. The speedometer reads 37,000 miles by the previous owner and we believe this to be correct. The codes identified on the trim tags in the photographs match the exterior and interior colors of the car as thery were delivered from the factory. The car has been converted from air ride to springs by our shop.

[Jan.01.2008] The car was offered for sale at auction on eBay. It appeared all original (except for having been converted to coil springs), including the seat material, Karakul carpets and headliner. It was owned by the same collector for 20 years and was delivered originally to New York. It was repainted and rechromed in the vendor's shop. This was a low-mileage example of the first-year Eldorado Brougham. No vanities were mentioned.
