Car Body #50

As of Dec. 22, 2024, this is the information we have about this car:

[Aug.01.2016] Javier Pasquera reported that the car (VIN #5770078924) was for sale on eBay under seller eBay ID "patlasuncity". It was previously shown in the survivor list but no pictures were available. The eBay listing ended on September 6, 2015 with a high bid of $25,100 and a total of 32 bids. The car was located in Westfield, Massachussetts at the time. The eBay listing stated the following: You are bidding on 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham number 50 with the correct matching numbers 365 cu. in. motor and factory ac and still has its dual carbs. It is number 50 out of the 400 built in 1957. Last registered probably 40 years ago. Now it sits on springs and the engine is free but not running. It will turn over with a battery. The stainless steel roof is in very good condition without dents but it does have a few minor scratches. The front and rear windshields are both fine. One of the rear door glass needs replacement because of a wayward teenager with a B B gun. Also damaged was the right rear door skin -- see pictures. There are no vanity items offered with this listing -- none. Previous owner, a professional mechanic, claimed rebuilt motor and transmission but I cannot verify. It looks clean underneath. This early production Brougham has the aluminum interior door panels. Steering wheel and horn ring are not cracked. Headliner could be cleaned and used as is -- nice pair of original Brougham sun visors. A few small pieces are missing such as 2 interior door handle escutcheons -- all round interior handles are present but not shown in pics. Other small missing items noticed are one rear door ashtray and lighter, one fender skirt hanger, and one front bumper end and both pieces of front fender trim. I know the history of this car pretty much from the original owner. I do not have a title in my name but I do have a signed title from the previous owner and it is not dated -- just signed by him.

[Late 1970s] The car was owned by Kenneth Anderson Jr of Southwick, MA.
