THE PHOTO SECTION
WILL LIKELY BECOME YOUR FAVORITE... |
This is the "picture-book"section of The (New) Cadillac Database©, for those of you who, like me, admire Cadillac and La Salle automobiles mainly for their looks and are not necessarily mechanically-minded. In any case we need not be technical experts to enjoy our favorirte cars, do we? They were built to the highest standards of quality, ensuring their continuing reliability even after, 10, 20, 50, sometimes even 90 or more years of service. Yes, at Cadillac, craftsmanship continues to be a creed and accuracy continues to be a law.
Over the next few months I shall be processing images regularly, and in random order. Please do not expect to see immediately pictures of late-model Cadillacs and La Salles; the onus of the photographic presentations in The (New) Cadillac Database© will be on the earlier models, those you are not likely to encounter too often on the streets or even at car shows and club events.
It so happens that I was preparing to write a magazine article on the 1928 Cadillac and La Salle models and had begun already processing the images for it. Many of these photos were, therefore, almost ready for publication. So let me start the "picture" ball rolling by presenting some of the most beautiful artist's views ever drawn of Cadillac and La Salle automobiles: the 1928 models featured in that year's product catalog entitled "Color Creations from Nature's Studios."
